NRG Stadium Group Visiting Guide

NRG Stadium is part of the larger NRG Park complex, which includes the Carruth Plaza, NRG Center, Astrodome, and NRG Arena. Tickets

The park’s box office has varying parameters for ticket purchases. For example, RodeoHouston does not sell tickets online, but an upcoming concert most likely will. Checks are not accepted at the window, and ATM machines are available at each ticket booth for easy withdrawal. 

To save time for your group, we recommend purchasing your tickets online if possible. If you must use the box office, do withdraw money at your personal bank’s ATMs to avoid processing fees.

Bags

Bag policies differ from event to event, but there is one common rule: backpacks and bags larger than 11” by 17” are not allowed. Clear bags made of plastic, PVC, or vinyl are allowed, but must have dimensions smaller than 12” by 6” by 12”. The stadium would prefer that you bring no bags at all. As a group, it might take too much time to go through the bag inspection line. If a bag is a must, we recommend allowing one group member only to be the designated bag carrier.

We also recommend checking out your individual event for its bag policy, as it may have different restrictions. Different events also have their own guidelines for camera usage, fan banners, and signs. If in doubt about your baggage, you’ll have a driver and private bus at your side.
