Don’t feel like traveling too far, but still craving glittering snow and mountaintop fun? Ober Gatlinburg is one of the closest ski destinations to Atlanta you can find within a four-hour drive. So if you’re not visiting during ski season (between mid-December and early March), you can still find something for the entire family. Prices vary based on age and activities, but you can get a premium wristband that includes access to a majority of the activities for an affordable rate. Your bus can park directly at the resort for $8 per vehicle, except on weekends and holidays.
